| Syracuse is the number one team in the land and tops six Big East teams in this week's AP Top 25 poll, including Georgetown at #11, Louisville (#14), Connecticut (#17), Seton Hall (#24), and Marquette (#25).
Syracuse stays put at #1 following a week that began with a win at Providence, 87-73. After that came another win at home against then-20th ranked Marquette, 73-66.
Georgetown moves down two places after a win against then-20th ranked Marquette, 73-70 and a loss to West Virginia, 74-62. Louisville moves down three spots after a win against St. John's, 73-58 and a loss to Notre Dame, 67-65. Connecticut moves down nine places after consecutive losses to Rutgers, 67-60 and Seton Hall, 75-63. Seton Hall enters the poll at #24 after wins against Providence, 66-57 and then-8th ranked Connecticut.
Along with new entry Seton Hall, Creighton breaks into the Top 25 at #23 with a win at home over Drake, 76-59 and a win at Bradley, 92-83. Wisconsin drops out of the Top 25 this week with an overtime loss at home to then-10th ranked Michigan State, 63-60 and a loss at then-16th ranked Michigan, 59-41. Harvard also drops out this week.
