| Four teams from the Big East find a home in this week's AP Top 25 poll. They are Syracuse at #2, Georgetown (#12), Marquette (#18), and Louisville (#24).
Syracuse stays put at #2 following a single game that resulted in a win at St. John's, 95-70.
Georgetown moves up two places after wins against South Florida, 75-45 and Connecticut, 58-44. Marquette moves down three spots after a win against Seton Hall, 66-59 and a loss to Notre Dame, 76-59. Louisville enters the poll at #24 after a win against Rutgers, 78-66.
Kentucky remains number one for the second straight week.
Joining Louisville as a newcomer, Harvard breaks into the Top 25 at #25 with a win at home over Cornell, 71-60 and a win at home over Columbia, 57-52. Gonzaga falls out of the Top 25 this week with an upset loss at Brigham Young, 83-73 and a win at Pepperdine, 72-60. Vanderbilt drops out after losses to then-12th ranked Florida, 73-65 and Arkansas, 82-74.
Florida State is a big mover this week to #15 after a win at home over Georgia Tech, 68-54 and an upset win at home over then-16th ranked Virginia, 58-55.
